Judith Edna Earley  


was born and raised in
Dayton, Ohio and recently returned to the Buckeye state after living in Southern California for several years. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and holds a California Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential and Master of Education from Concordia University.


Her writing credits include hundreds of magazine, newspaper, and web-content articles published in national, regional, and trade publications.  She authored The Forest for the Trees, an original full-length screenplay optioned for direct-to-video production. Eight to Five, her first novel, is set in Venice, a  fictional suburb of Dayton and is based on her personal experiences as a marching band geek in high school and college.  The manuscript was a finalist
in the
St. Martin’s Press Malice Domestic Best First Mystery Novel Competition under the title of Lyre, Lyre.

 

After unsuccessfully pitching the subject of autoimmune beauty as a magazine article for years, she decided to just write the book herself. She was diagnosed with Scleroderma in 1992.
