Judith Edna Earley  


was born and raised in
Dayton, Ohio and currently lives in Southern California. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and holds a California Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential and Master of Education from Concordia University.

  

  Her writing credits include hundreds of magazine, newspaper,  
  and web-content articles published in national, regional, and
  trade publications.  She authored The Forest for the Trees, an
  original full-length screenplay optioned for direct-to-video
  production. Eight to Five, her first novel, is set in Venice, a
  fictional suburb of Dayton and is based on her personal
  experiences as a marching band geek in high school and college.  The manuscript was a finalist in the
St. Martin’s Press Malice Domestic Best First Mystery Novel Competition under the title of Lyre, Lyre.

 

After unsuccessfully pitching the subject of autoimmune beauty as a magazine article for years, she decided to just write the book herself. She was diagnosed with Scleroderma in 1992.
